The School We Love
"School is our second home."
That's what our parents told us when we are still young. Every school is a second home for everyone. It is the place where we experience so much things outside our house. We found love and care in our second parents and second siblings. We are being mold by the school where we studies. It may have a positive or negative effect depends on the school. That is why, every parents looked for the best school where it can influence their children to become a better person.
Every school has their own identity, and most of the schools we're only focusing in transferring knowledge itself to their students.
In more than three year of studying in St. Mary's College of Meycauayan, I never regret why i chose SMCM in the first place.
Why still choose SMCM in my College years?
Also, I experienced socializing and joined different activities that makes us united with other year level, where I discovered friendships, and also discovered my skills in doing such activities. I gained confidence in joining the school activities. They let me experience the activities I haven't experience in my recent school.
I found friends, I found happiness, I found my second home where I developed myself as a person. I became socially healthy. I learned to have friends, to become approachable, to know myself better with the help of those people. It taught me to find whose real and whose not.

Why still choose SMCM in my College years?
In my 11th grade, i choose this school because:
- The facilities are all in good condition,
- Rooms are well designed
- Organized things
- Neat and clean environment;
- And air conditioned rooms.

And as long as I stay in this school, I encountered so much students and employees inside the school. Most people inside the school are kind, happy people, positive people, and respectful people. The school provides outreach programs in Gasak, the adopted community of St. Mary's College of Meycauayan.

Another thing I love in my first year in studying here is the Library. I really love books, that's why library is one of my favorite place. SMCM's Library encourages me to read more books as it displays different books every two months. The ambiance of the library feels good and it was arranged accordingly.

I love how the school acknowledges the people who donates and helps the school, through financial need. Did you know that SMCM gives scholarship for the people who are less fortunate and experiencing financial problems. The way of the school to show their appreciation in through posting it to the legacy wall, which is located at the saluysoy gate.

And this school helps the students to became more eager. How? They are proud whenever one of the students received an award, or if one student represent the school international or even local. In this way, they help the students to become more proud for themselves, also for the school where they study. They post it in Hall of Famers. Which is located at the main gate of St. Mary's College of Meycauayan.

They also express their pride through putting the awards and trophies of the school where everyone can see.

Also, when it comes to the security of the school, students are all secured since the gates are all strictly guarded. The entrance and exit of all students are well-managed.

St. Mary's guides me academically, in curricular activities, and even spiritually. They shape youths with a good character, an excellent mind, and God centered youths with a bright future.
