Addiction is a psychological and physical inability to stop consuming a chemical, drug, activity, or substance, even though it is causing psychological and physical harm.

Social media addiction is one of the popular problems hitting most numbers of youth in today's society. According to the Powerful Media Influencer's Marketing Case Study, There are 3.1 billion people are social media users worldwide and there are 210 million who suffers from internet and social media addiction. Being addicted to social media has no difference in using illegal drugs because both of this can affect our brain and damaged it.

We never realized that we're  wasting too much time on social media without us noticing the number of hours we are spending scrolling through our gadgets. According to fix.com "Today we spend roughly two and more hours per day on social media."
Think about this, what if that two roughly hours was spend by exercising, bonding with family and etc, do you think it'll help us to become more healthy?

There are 4 solution to avoid social media addiction.

1. Set a limited time in using a social media-
          In Kapuso Mo, Jessica Sojo, they have this interview to a guy who loves to play mobile games and become addicted to it, to the point that he never eat properly and also, he can't sleep. Which makes his health poor.

2. Change your way in using social media-
          Try to use social media in your free time only just like limiting the time. Always make yourself busy in other things than using social media.

3. Know your reason-
          Ask yourself why using social media in the first place? If it is for communicating then limit yourself just for communicating.

4. Establish new sources outside of your social media feeds-
          Most commonly, one of our reason in using gadgets is because it is where we access news easily, but try getting new information outside the social media. Try to turn on your radio or try to buy some newspaper. For the students, in your researches, try to go at national library it has more reliable sources.

So, if i were you, take good care of your health because our health, is our natures wealth.
